This role involves overseeing daily accounting functions, guiding financial decisions with the executive team, and ensuring timely closing of financial statements. The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years of experience, including 2 years in a managerial role, with a bachelor's degree in accounting/finance and a professional qualification like ACCA/CPA/CA. Big 4 experience is an advantage.

Your Responsibilities

• Overseeing the organization’s daily accounting function, managing the finance controllership team
• Working with executive team to guide the organization’s financial decisions
• Ensure timely closing of financial statements, including group consolidations on monthly basis meeting the deadlines
• Ensuring accuracy of data provided or posted by the internal stakeholders. Liasing with other functions for the required data/information
• Coordinating activities of external auditors
• Assessing current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes
• Developing and monitoring financial performance metrics

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance
• Professional qualification is a must (ACCA/CPA/CA)
• 10 years of experience.
• Past track of being in managerial position for minimum of 2 years.
• Big 4 experience is an advantage
