A leading engineering firm in Dubai is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer (MEP) with over 10 years of UAE experience in MEP contracting. The ideal candidate will oversee mechanical systems, conduct site inspections, and coordinate project tasks with various stakeholders. Responsibilities include reviewing mechanical drawings, ensuring compliance with standards, and preparing progress reports. The candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and possess strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Qualifications
- 10+ years of UAE experience in MEP contracting (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, site execution, and project coordination.
- Ability to manage multiple project activities simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the execution of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and related MEP works.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely project completion.
- Review mechanical drawings, design documents, and technical submittals.
- Provide technical guidance and resolve on-site issues efficiently.
- Ensure quality control and adherence to project timelines.
- Prepare progress reports and assist in project planning.
