Job summary
A prominent consulting firm is seeking a Senior ICSS Engineer for a 12-month residential position in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate must have advanced expertise in instrumentation and control systems for oil and gas projects and be proficient in industry codes and standards. Responsibilities include assisting the Lead ICSS Engineering and ensuring compliance with project requirements. This role involves significant implication for design and engineering throughout various project phases.
Qualifications
- Advanced expertise in instrumentation and control systems for oil and gas projects.
- Proficient in industry codes and standards such as API, BS, ISO.
- Strong knowledge of international structural codes.
Responsibilities
- Assist and report to the Lead ICSS Engineering.
- Comply with project rules and requirements.
- Support ICSS Engineering team during project phases.
Skills
We are looking for a Senior ICSS Engineer for one of our clients with the following details:
Location: Dubai, UAE
Work Scheme: Residential
Start: ASAP
Duration: 12 months, subject for renewal
Advanced expertise is required:
- Instrumentation, oil & gas project/industry specially for onshore fields including ICSS package design.
- In project at all life-cycle stages of project development (Detailed Engineering, etc)
- Proficient to the codes and standards in the oil and gas industry i.e. API, BS, ISO, ASME, ANSI, IEC, ISA, etc
- Adept at designing and engineering for the Instruments and control systems like PCS, Fire & Gas, Safety shutdown systems, Remote telemetry units, Gas metering systems, SMART instruments, Liquid metering systems, Multiphase flow meter, High integrity pressure protection systems (HIPPS), HVAC, field instruments like transmitters, Control valves, Shut down Valves and Choke Valves, etc.
- Strong knowledge with International Structural codes (i.e. API, AISC, DNV, Eurocode) and TOTAL General Specifications related to structures.
- The job holder assists and reports to the Lead ICSS Engineering.
- The job holder is entitled to comply with rules and requirements of Project.
- The job holder brings support in ICSS Engineering
- The job holder may have to liaise, as requested, with Iraq affiliate Engineering Dpt.
- The job holder shall observe strict confidentiality in the performance of his duties.
- The job holder is also accountable for demonstrating individually an exemplary behaviour regarding HSSE rules & requirements
