Job description

Job Title: Manual QA Engineer
Location: Dubai Remote (Candidate must reside in Dubai)
Contract Duration: 6 months (with high possibility of extension)

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer to join our team. This role is primarily focused on manual functional testing (70%) with a secondary expectation of having basic knowledge of automation tools (30%). The ideal candidate will ensure product quality by identifying documenting and tracking issues while collaborating closely with developers business analysts and product managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough manual functional testing of web and mobile applications.
• Create maintain and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios.
• Identify document and track defects using Jira or similar tools.
• Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met.
• Conduct regression integration and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Contribute to test planning reporting and continuous process improvement.
• Utilize basic knowledge of Selenium Java and automation concepts to support the QA process (note: no scripting required).

• Proven experience in manual functional testing.

• Hands-on experience with Jira or other defect management tools.
• Basic knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium and programming concepts in Java (no scripting required).
