Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review commissioning manuals issued by EPC Contractor or Vendors.
• Verify mechanical completion certificates requirements for various systems and subsystems.
• Participate in troubleshooting analysis to resolve commissioning obstacles.
• Monitor and approve the close out of punch lists.
• Ensure compliance with handover methodology.

KBR is looking for a Senior Commissioning Engineer (Process Field) with Offshore Site experience in MEGA EPC projects to be based in Abu Dhabi for PMC project.

Experience required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is a MUST.
• Minimum of Fifteen (15) years of relevant experience in the commissioning / operation readiness position; preference for GCC region experience.
• Minimum of Five (5) years of experience in a similar position in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects with preference for commissioning sour gas, hydrogen production, hydrodesulfurization projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Review commissioning manuals issued by EPC Contractor or Vendors.
• Verify mechanical completion certificates requirements for various systems and subsystems.
• Participate in commissioning meetings and other related meetings.
• Participate in troubleshooting analysis to resolve commissioning obstacles.
• Verify the readiness of systems/subsystems for MC and RFSU certificates issuance.
• Monitor and approve the close out of punch lists in his area.
• Ensure completion and handover methodology proceeds in compliance with related contractual documents.
