Job Responsibility
- Work closely with a group of Relationship Managers to manage and promote investment and Takaful products (primary function)
- Manage alongside the Relationship Managers client profiling, sales process for investment and Takaful products
- Training of Relationship Managers on selling and portfolio management for investments and Takaful
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, product providers and various other parties to ensure smooth processing of sales and prompt reply to client enquiries
- Provide support during initiatives aimed to cross‑sell initiatives to increase investment and Takaful product penetrations within Priority Banking
1. Investment Products revenue growth and penetration increase
- Drive initiatives to increase investment revenues and penetration in priority banking customers
- Manage and meet customers and develop investment proposals for large customers through profiling and model portfolios
2. Takaful Products revenue growth and penetration increase
- Drive initiatives to increase Takaful revenues and penetration in priority banking customers
- Manage and meet customers and develop Takaful proposals for large customers through profiling and model portfolios
3. Training of RMs and on‑job coaching
- Train all the RMs on investment and Takaful products
- On‑the‑job coaching of RMs for investments and Takaful products
4. Compliance and Prevention of Miss‑selling
- Ensure compliance to mentioned policies during investment and Takaful sales process and ensure minimal miss‑selling
- Training of RMs on compliance and risks
- Ensure monitoring when required
5. Efficient team oversight and development
- Oversee team activity, drive revenue, ensure highest quality standards are maintained
- Allocate sub‑targets and assist segment to achieve their budgets
- Ensure continuous professional (hard and soft skill) development of team members
6. Product and platform development
- Work closely with product team and various other stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of investment products
- Provide feedback to enhance platform through launch of profiling tools and build up on investment product list and platform
Job Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance
- CFA certification
- CISI Certification / Other Certifications
- 5+ years of similar experience in other banks or wealth management institutions
- Experience as wealth manager for at least 3 years
- Experience in investment product management of at least 3 years
- Experience across a wide range of Banking areas, e.g. Retail, wealth management, SME
