Job summary
A prominent construction company in the UAE is seeking an experienced operator to manage construction machinery. The ideal candidate must have 3-5 years of experience and a valid UAE license. Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, driving heavy machinery, and maintaining performance records. This role is crucial for ensuring successful project completion on site.
Qualifications
- Min 3-5 years of operating various models of construction machinery.
- Valid UAE License.
Responsibilities
- Inspecting equipment before and after use to ensure it’s in good working order.
- Driving or controlling heavy equipment to complete tasks at the construction site.
- Tracking scheduled maintenance of equipment.
Skills
To operate & complete assigned tasks safely and accurately using construction equipment.
- Inspecting equipment before and after use to ensure it’s in good working order
- Create level surfaces, grade slopes to specifications, remove material and thoroughly fill voids using plans and/or a surveyor as guidance
- Driving or controlling heavy equipment to complete tasks at the construction site
- Monitoring performance and adjusting settings as required to perform tasks correctly
- Tracking scheduled maintenance of equipment and notifying their Supervisor if maintenance is past due
- Filling out performance records to report problems with equipment and track where and when it was used
- Cleaning equipment after use and disposing of any collected scraps or waste
- Completing minor repair work as needed
Min 3-5 years of operating various models of construction machinery
Valid UAE License
