Chef in Dubai, UAE. job duties, and qualifications.

We are looking for a Chef to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and preparing delicious meals, while ensuring the highest quality of food and service. They will also ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed in the kitchen.

• Preparing and cooking meals according to recipes and specifications
• Developing new menu items based on customer feedback
• Ensuring that food is cooked to the highest standards of quality
• Cleaning and sanitizing work areas before, during, and after meal preparation
• Managing kitchen inventory, ordering new ingredients as needed
• Meeting with customers to discuss their needs and preferences for meals
• Maintaining records of food costs, sales, staffing levels, etc.
• Ensuring that health and safety regulations are followed in the kitchen at all times
• Training other kitchen staff in proper food preparation techniques

• Previous experience as a Chef or similar role in a professional kitchen setting is preferred
• Knowledge of international cuisines is an asset
• Good communication skills with customers and other staff members
• Ability to work long hours in a fast-paced environment
• A valid work permit (for foreign applicants)
• The ideal candidate must have a passion for cooking and excellent culinary skills. They must also possess excellent organizational skills as well as an understanding of health & safety regulations.
