A technology consulting firm in Abu Dhabi is looking for an experienced Network and Security Architect to design and implement scalable architectures. The role requires strong expertise in various network protocols, operational support, and cloud infrastructure implementation. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in relevant fields and significant experience in a service provider environment. This opportunity offers a dynamic work environment with potential travel within the UAE.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in a Service Provider (Satellite) network environment.
- Expertise in routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, MPLS.
- Deep packet inspection experience with Sandvine/Allot.

- Design and implement secure, scalable network and security architectures.
- Handle firmware upgrades, device installations, and data center configurations.
- Lead infrastructure projects including planning and documentation.

Design and implement secure, scalable network and security architectures.
Prepare L2/L3 network and security traffic flow diagrams, rack elevations, cable routing plans, and IPAM.
Handle firmware upgrades, device installations, and data center-level configurations.
Lead network and security infrastructure projects including planning, testing, documentation (HLD, LLD, SOW, ATP, AS-BUILT), and user training.
Provide operational support and troubleshooting aligned with ITIL processes.
Collaborate on multi-vendor environments involving Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Aruba, Huawei, etc.
Administer firewall technologies (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco) and load balancers (A10, Barracuda, F5).
Implement and support cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) and virtual platforms (Nutanix, VMware).
Utilize tools like Cacti, PRTG, Grafana, SolarWinds for monitoring and reporting.
Ensure robust documentation and SOPs for NOC and operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communications or Computer Science.
- Certifications: CCIE, NSE 78, Palo Alto NGFW Engineer.
- 10+ years in a Service Provider (Satellite) network environment.
- Expertise in routing protocols and technologies: BGP, OSPF, ISIS, MPLS, SDWAN, VXLAN, IPSEC, SSL VPN, GRE, QoS, STP, RADIUS, SAML, LDAP.
- Deep packet inspection experience with Sandvine/Allot.
- Strong background in Aruba WLC, ClearPass, AirWave, and wireless technologies.
- Familiarity with FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiAuthenticator.
- Proficient in creating RFPs, RFIs, and full project documentation.
- Experience in enterprise-grade firewall, load balancer, and Wi-Fi solution deployments.
- Willingness to work 24/7 physically or on-call when required.
- Open to travel between office locations in the UAE (Abu Dhabi and Al Ain).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to handle tight deadlines with a proactive, positive attitude.
- Collaborative mindset with transparency and ownership.
