Job Description

We are looking for a Salesforce Developer with CPQ knowledge to join our dynamics IT team and help us deliver customized solutions for internal business users. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying Salesforce applications using CPQ and other tools. You will also collaborate with other developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure quality and timely delivery. The position is focused on meeting project commitments. Solid experience with CPQ knowledge preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Salesforce applications using CPQ, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, and other technologies.
• Integrate Salesforce with external systems using APIs, web services, and middleware.
• Configure and customize CPQ functionalities such as product catalogue, pricing, quoting, contracting, billing, and reporting.
• Implement best practices and standards for Salesforce development and CPQ configuration.
• Perform unit testing, code review, and quality assurance of Salesforce applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues and defects in Salesforce and CPQ applications.
• Provide technical support and documentation for Salesforce and CPQ applications.
• Stay updated with the latest Salesforce and CPQ features and trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver technical solutions that meet those needs.
• Ensure clean coding practices and adherence to coding standards and guidelines.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
• Ensure that projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
• Establish realistic timelines and goals for project deliverables.
• Demonstrate superior collaboration skills and techniques which appropriately define alternate solutions; resolve conflicts; and create partnerships with team members and stakeholders.
• Proactively develop and implement strategies that significantly mitigate program/project risks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, and web services.
• 5 years of experience in implementing end-to-end solutions using Salesforce CPQ, including product configuration, pricing, quoting, contract management, billing, and invoicing.
• Solid experience with CPQ knowledge highly preferred.

Computer/Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform, CPQ, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, and other technologies.
• Experience in integrating Salesforce with external systems using APIs, web services, and middleware.
• Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, CPQ Specialist, or equivalent.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and quality.
• Experience in supporting user requirements analysis, design, configuration, development, testing, and deployment of Salesforce and CPQ solutions.
• Knowledge of development best practices such as code quality, security, performance, and documentation.
• Ability to comprehend business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using Salesforce and CPQ.
• Familiarity with advanced CPQ functionalities such as advanced approvals, CPQ plugins, and product rules.
• Preferred experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps, or other code repositories.
• Strong understanding of clean coding practices and ability to implement them consistently.
• Good understanding of creating and maintaining Salesforce Reports and Dashboard.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools.
• Experience with SOQL and SOSL for efficient database querying.
• Knowledge of Salesforce Shield for data security and encryption.
• Experience with Salesforce Communities and Experience Cloud.
• Understanding of Salesforce Einstein Analytics for reporting and data analysis.
