Job Description
Strategy, Policy and Procedure
- Implement the strategic initiatives and partnership projects of the Licensing Unit in line with the organization's long-term objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies as needed.
- Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard communications procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
- Deal with sensitive and confidential information related to work with discretion to protect the interests of 7X.
Strategic Project Planning and Execution
- Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining objectives, timelines, scopes, resources and deliverables.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are executed effectively, adhering to defined scopes, budgets, and deadlines.
- Manage the projects through all relevant stages of the project life cycle from inception through to closure.
- Allocate and manage resources effectively to meet project objectives while optimizing efficiency.
- Identify underlying risks and issues and provide appropriate recommended improvements.
- Resolve day-to-day challenges during the project execution, escalating as needed to the Senior director.
- Monitor and evaluate project performance, preparing detailed status updates and reports for senior leadership.
Stakeholder and Partnership Engagement
- Serve as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders involved in strategic projects, initiatives and events.
- Collaborate with partners, sponsors and vendors to align project objectives with strategic goals.
- Facilitate regular meetings and communications to maintain alignment and foster productive relationships.
- Act as a liaison to streamline communication and foster a cooperative approach to project execution.
Event Execution
- Lead the execution of industry-focused initiatives, events, workshops, conferences and training programs, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Oversee the logistical aspects of events, including venue selection, schedules, vendor coordination, catering, transportation and on-site setup.
- Ensure logistical and operational readiness for events, from concept to post-event evaluation.
Project Performance
- Develop and monitor performance metrics of partnership projects under Licensing, including budget adherence, milestone achievement, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and implement licensing process improvements.
Reports & Budget Management
- Ensure timely submission of reports related to project progress, project performance, budget etc.
Other Tasks
- Perform any other responsibilities relating to this job request or work task as allocated by the Line Manager.
Qualifications
Qualifications and Knowledge:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Project Management, Event Management, or any relevant field.
- Holding certification in one of the following project managements: PMP, Management of Portfolios, Management of Value, or Management of Risk.
Experience:
- 5-7 years of experience in Project Management with a similar organization or industry.
