A leading financial services company is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant for a temporary role in Al Ain, UAE. The candidate will assist in day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial records, and support monthly and yearly closing activities. Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will provide accounting and financial support to ensure smooth business operations during a 3-month leave replacement period.
- Assist in day-to-day accounting operations.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports as required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience (UAE experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
