Job summary
A reputable healthcare provider in Dubai is seeking a Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join their team. The ideal candidate will conduct psychiatric evaluations and develop comprehensive treatment plans for children and adolescents. A minimum of 5 years of experience, alongside specialty training and board certification, is required. Qualifications
- 5+ years of post-specialty experience, with 3-5 years in a Consultant role.
- Eligibility for DHA Consultant licensure.
- Proficiency in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.

- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for patients aged 0–18.
- Develop and implement treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for holistic care.
- Supervise junior psychiatrists and healthcare staff.

Education
We are seeking an experienced Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join its expanding team. The role involves providing specialized psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for children and adolescents within a multidisciplinary and culturally diverse environment.
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients aged 0–18
- Provide pharmacological and psychotherapeutic interventions
- Collaborate with psychologists, occupational therapists, educators, and social workers for holistic care
- Supervise junior psychiatrists and allied healthcare professionals
- Engage in family education, support, and psychoeducation programs
- Contribute to mental health awareness, early intervention programs, and school outreach initiatives
- Maintain full compliance with clinical documentation and regulatory requirements (e.g., DHA standards)
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with completed specialty training in Psychiatry
- Subspecialty qualification in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
- Board certification (e.g., UK CCT, American Board, Arab Board, or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years of post-specialty experience (at least 3–5 in a Consultant role)
- Eligibility for DHA Consultant licensure
- Proficiency in English (Arabic is a strong advantage)
- Empathetic, culturally sensitive approach to pediatric mental health
- Strong communicator with families and multidisciplinary teams
- Interest in research, education, or program development
- Familiarity with digital mental health solutions is a plus
