Job summary
A leading luxury fashion house in Dubai seeks an experienced Financial Controller to join its Controlling team. You will be responsible for delivering accurate financial statements, providing analytical insights, and leading finance projects. The ideal candidate has over 7 years of experience in finance, preferably in the retail industry, and strong analytical skills. This role offers a dynamic work environment and the chance to work on exciting projects.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of controlling/finance experience in multinational and large-scale companies.
- Previous experience in the retail industry is preferred.
- Fluent in English; French or Arabic is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with IFRS.
- Provide analytical comments on variances versus budget and previous year.
- Elaborate sales forecasts in coordination with Retail managers.
- Investigation of opex overspends and provide recommendations.
- Lead key finance projects.

Christian Dior Couture Middle East is looking for an experienced and talented Financial Controller to reinforce the Controlling team based in Dubai. Dynamic work environment and exciting projects to come. This position is a direct reporting to the head of Financial Controlling.
- Timely deliver accurate financial statements and reportings (Sales, Opex, Operating profit, Stock KPI) in compliance with IFRS and Group guidelines
- Provide Zone General manager & CFO with assertive analytical comments on the main variances versus budget and versus previous year
- Elaborate Sales forecasts in coordination with Retail managers (Budget & 3Y plan, Ad hoc reviews)
- Follow Marketing and Communication investments
- Timely investigate opex overspends and deviations vs Budget, and provide recommendations for remediation and improvement
- Ad hoc analyses and to Business review preparation
- Key Finance Project leader
- Master’ degree in Finance or Business administration
- 7+ years of controlling/ finance experience in multinational and large-scale companies; previous experience in the retail industry is preferred
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to details
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Dynamic profile, agile & proactive, problem solver, and team player
- Fluent in English, French or Arabic will be a plus
- Computer literate (ERP, SAP, advanced user of Excell and Power BI)
