- Preparing meals according to recipes or menus

- Checking that prepared dishes meet standards for quality and quantity before serving them
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques, ingredients, equipment and processes
- Familiarity with various cuisines and culinary trends
- Ability to work long hours in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and take direction well
