Job summary
A leading UAE technology firm is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Support professional to design and manage cloud infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate should have comprehensive knowledge of operating systems, network protocols, and security practices. Responsibilities include implementing solutions that meet TDRA requirements, ensuring system stability, and preparing technical documentation. Collaboration with different teams and continuous skills development are essential for success in this role.
Qualifications
- Experience with cloud infrastructure solutions and TDRA requirements.
- Willingness to update skills with technological changes.
- Ability to prepare technical documentation and reports.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Manage and monitor cloud systems for stability.
- Apply best security practices for data protection.
- Develop backup and recovery plans to ensure continuity.
Skills
- Knowledge of operating systems such as Windows Server and Linux.
- Understanding of network protocols, routers, switches and firewalls.
- Experience in server management, including setup and maintenance.
- Knowledge of storage systems and database technologies.
- Experience in network security and information security, including firewalls, VPN, and anti-virus.
- Ability to discover, analyze and resolve complex problems.
- Willingness to keep up with technological changes and continuously update skills and knowledge.
- Ability to work within a team and collaborate with different teams to achieve project goals.
- Design cloud infrastructure solutions that meet business needs and TDRA requirements.
- Implement and establish cloud infrastructure in collaboration with the Telecommunications & Digital Regulations Authority (TDRA).
- Manage cloud systems and services, ensuring their stability and continuous availability.
- Apply best security practices to ensure data and system protection.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulatory laws.
- Monitor and analyze cloud infrastructure performance to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Work closely with development, support, and other technical teams to ensure cloud solutions align with business requirements.
- Prepare necessary documentation for cloud infrastructure and related processes.
- Prepare periodic reports on system status, performance, and compliance.
- Develop and implement backup and recovery plans to ensure work continuity.
- Prepare and update technical documentation for systems and procedures.
- Prepare periodic reports on performance, security, and usage.
