Job description
- Negotiating rates for import and export shipments with worldwide agents and carriers.
- Quoting to customers by written offer and following up with them.
- Making reservations between our company and shipping lines and agents.
- Managing and following the customs clearance process.
- Following up with the shippers directly.
- Responsible for all import & export shipment processes and documentation.
- Preparing reports and details involved in import and export shipments. Sending weekly reports to the responsible manager.
- Payment follow-up.
