Job Description

• Conduct thorough analysis of tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and optimize tax positions.
• Prepare and file accurate corporate tax returns, ensuring timely submission to avoid penalties.
• Assist in tax audits, preparing necessary documentation and liaising with auditors to facilitate the process.
• Perform tax research to identify potential credits, deductions, and strategies that benefit the company.
• Collaborate with finance departments to reconcile tax-related accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organization’s tax strategy.
• Develop and maintain tax planning models to forecast tax liabilities and cash flows.
• Prepare and present tax reports and analyses to senior management, providing insights and recommendations.
• Assist in the implementation of tax compliance software and tools to streamline reporting processes.
• Support cross-functional teams with tax implications on business decisions, mergers, and acquisitions.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax compliance, planning, or advisory roles within a corporate environment.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, EA, or equivalent are highly preferred.
• Experience in multinational tax matters and understanding of international tax laws is a strong asset.
• Proficient in tax software platforms and ERP systems; familiarity with tools like SAP or Oracle is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex tax regulations and apply them effectively.
• Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in tax filings and documentation.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
