Senior Algorithmic Equity Trader — Execution & Strategy
Job summary
A leading trading firm in Dubai seeks an experienced Algorithmic Equity Trader to design and optimize equity trading strategies. The position demands deep market microstructure knowledge along with the ability to develop execution algorithms. Responsibilities include monitoring trade performance across various platforms, analyzing costs and impacts, and collaborating with research and engineering teams. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of institutional trading experience, proficient in Python or C programming, and strong risk management skills.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in equity algorithmic or systematic trading.
- Strong knowledge of market microstructure and order types.
- Proficiency with execution analytics and TCA frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize algorithmic execution strategies.
- Monitor and manage execution performance across multiple venues.
- Analyze slippage, transaction costs, and market impact.
