A leading accounting firm in South Africa is seeking a SAIPA Trainee Accountant for their 3-year training programme. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates aiming to obtain a SAIPA training contract while gaining valuable experience and training. Candidates should have a BCom Accounting / B Accounting degree and reside within a reasonable distance from the office. Responsibilities include managing client portfolios and preparing financial statements, with a focus on teamwork and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Must have a BCom Accounting / B Accounting or similar degree eligible for SAIPA learnership.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Computer literacy is required.

Job Description A well-established accounting practice seeks a SAIPA Trainee Accountant to join their 3 year programme. Suitable candidates need to have a BCom Accounting / B Accounting or similar degree. It is essential that you reside within a reasonable travel distance from the office.
- Manage a portfolio of clients
- Complete monthly statutory returns
- Liaise with SARS
- Prepare monthly management accounts
- Prepare Annual Financial Statements
- Submit income tax returns for companies, individuals, and trusts
- Be deadline driven and budget conscious
- BCom Accounting / B Accounting or similar degree making you eligible for SAIPA learnership
- Computer literacy
- Ability to work in a team
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management
- Own car and driver's license advantageous
