Job summary
An educational institution is seeking a Lecturer in Accounting and Financial Management in South Africa. The ideal candidate should possess a Chartered Accountant qualification or equivalent. Responsibilities include lecturing, facilitating, and marking coursework, along with providing support to students. This independent contractor role offers face-to-face classes on campus. Qualifications
- Must have lecturing experience in Financial Accounting at the second level.
- Experience in a registered firm of Chartered Accountants preferred.
- Possession of a suitable qualification as listed is essential.

- Marking assignments and providing student support.

Emeris Nelson Mandela Bay has a vacancy for a Lecturer in the following module:
- Lecturing/Facilitation
- Marking
- Student support
- Chartered Accountant OR
- Certificate in the Theory of Accounting (CTA) OR
- Honours/post‑graduate qualification in Financial Accounting
- Honours in one of the Financial Management (CIMA) related fields (e.g. Tax, Accounting,) with Financial Accounting to the third‑year level OR
- NQF level 9 qualification in Financial Accounting.
- Lecturing experience in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Auditing or Taxation preferable.
- Completed training contract at a registered firm of Chartered Accountants.
- Lecturing experience in 2nd level Financial Accounting.
- Please note that this is an independent contractor position.
- Please note that lectures take place between 08:20 and 16:45 on weekdays.
- Classes are conducted face‑to‑face on campus.
