Job Description: Our client in Pretoria is recruiting for an SAP MM Functional Consultant (Expert) to join their team.

1. Understand the business requirements, preparing AS-IS, and TO-BE documents and get sign-off from users for the Business Blueprint document.
2. ABAP debugging beneficial (Workbench related knowledge of new development/enhancements).
3. Set up the organization structure of Materials Management and perform all relevant configuration, for example, Purchase Organisation, Valuation Area Plants, Storage Location, and Warehouse structure.
4. Preparation of testing documents and perform internal testing.
5. Preparation of Master Data templates for various objects like Material Master, Vendor Master, Excise Master, Info-records, Source List, and Purchase Orders.
6. Integration testing with other modules.
7. Understand interfaces, IDOC, and RFC's processing.
8. Prepare the cutover strategy for MM objects.
9. Prepare user manuals and conduct training for business process owners.
10. Go-live preparation and post Go-live support.
11. Interaction with clients through meetings, calls, and emails.
12. Handling tickets and tasks with the responsibility for closing the same within defined SLA's (Service Level Agreements).
13. Responsible for troubleshooting issues for the system and providing support.
14. Execute the required changes through configuration.
15. Execute the analysis and resolution of Production Support calls.
16. Raise Change Requests (CR's) and write Functional Specifications for them.
17. Prepare test data for testing of CR's (Change Requests).
18. Test CR's (Change Requests) and prepare test results.
19. Carry out regression testing.
20. Interact with consultants of other modules.
21. User interface transactional solutions.
22. Conduct SAP Module process configuration.
23. Update and maintain all SAP Module functional documentation.
24. Analyse and scope End-user authorisation roles.
25. Conduct Unit tests, Integration tests, and System Integration security tests.
26. Proactively propose solutions to improve the support of (new) business processes.
27. Support the functional team with issues and provide a solutions-based approach.
28. Analyse and solve SAP Module issues.

1. IT Degree and/or relevant qualifications / 7 years of SAP MM / ABAP experience.
2. SAP MM Module Configuration.
3. SAP ABAP Development on ECC and S/4HANA.
4. Data services.
5. BAPIs.
6. SAP Ariba network.
7. SAP Ariba Guided Buying.

1. Formal qualification in IT (Diploma / Degree) or relevant SAP Certification.
2. Delivery Management.
3. SAP UI5.
4. Project Solution Planning, Estimation, and Costing.
5. SAP MM-Purchasing.
6. SAP Business Workflow.
7. Eclipse IDE.
8. SAP Web IDE.
