A product solutions company in Gauteng is seeking an Applications Engineer to provide technical support, manage product selections, and train staff. The ideal candidate will have a B-Technical/Engineering qualification and 5 years of experience with sealing pumps. Strong skills in MS Office and CAD are essential, along with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

DUTIES:
The Application Engineer will be responsible for the correct selection of the
company’s pallet of products and technical support to sales staff and assist with
designs for Design office.
Responsible for costing for quotation purposes for sales staff and branch administrators.
- Advise and prepare quote for sales staff for the company’s pallet of products
- Gather relevant information and assist sales rep staff with technical knowledge when visiting clients
- Do site visits and give recommendations on technical solutions
- Training of sales staff and customers on technical solutions
- Manage and assist with sales growth of products for which you are Product Manager
Qualifications, Experience & Other Qualities:
- B-Technical/Engineering qualification
- 5 years with experience with sealing pumps
- Proficient in the use of MS office and Navision/SAP
- Basic CAD mechanical design
- Good Interpersonal skills
