A leading personnel agency is seeking an experienced Service Foreman (Mechanic) in Tzaneen. The role requires a strong technical background in mechanics and proven leadership ability. - 5+ years as a Foreman or Service Manager at a franchised dealership.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily workshop operations and workflow.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the team of technicians and support staff.
- Ensure adherence to OEM standards for UD & FAW.
- Drive productivity and efficiency of the service department.
- Handle escalated customer queries to ensure satisfaction.
- Manage job cards and quality control.
- Conduct performance reviews and support staff development.
- Oversee health, safety, and compliance requirements.
- Prepare monthly service department performance reports.

We are seeking a highly capable and experienced Service Manager to lead a busy UD & FAW workshop.
This role requires a strong technical background, proven leadership ability, and a solid track record within a franchised commercial dealership.
Salary: R30 000 – R40 000 + Commission + Demo vehicle + Fuel allowance + Cellphone allowance + Medical aid + Pension fund + 13th cheque.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily workshop operations and workflow
- Lead, mentor, and manage the team of technicians and support staff
- Ensure adherence to OEM standards for UD & FAW
- Drive productivity, efficiency, and profitability of the service department
- Handle escalated customer queries and ensure high customer satisfaction
- Manage job cards, warranty processes, and quality control
- Conduct performance reviews and support staff development
- Oversee health, safety, and compliance requirements
- Prepare and present monthly service department performance reports
Requirements:
- National Senior Certificate
- Diesel Mechanic Trade Test (essential)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience on the bench as a qualified Diesel Mechanic
- 5+ years as a Foreman or Service Manager at a franchised dealership
