Key performance areas:
  • Presenting lectures and assessing students in various subjects (Day classes)
  • Be responsible for administrative tasks relating to Teaching and Learning.
  • Involvement in departmental community projects.
  • Compile and maintain quality study guides, subjects files and other Teaching and Learning materials
  • Liaise with industry regarding WIL, industrial visits and other related activities
  • Assist with Curriculum Development in terms of the HEQSF.
  • Attend meetings
  • Setting and marking all assessments.
  • General administrative duties such as capturing of test and assignment marks on the ITS system and uploading documents on BrightSpace.
  • Student consultation.
Minimum requirements:

Academic qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree in Policing, Criminology or Traffic Sciences.
Experience:
  • At least 3 years teaching experience at a tertiary institution is a requirement.
  • Registration with professional body (if applicable).
