A leading manufacturing company in Gauteng is looking for an experienced Production Manager to oversee the entire production cycle. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in extrusion plant operations and relevant safety certifications. Responsibilities include ensuring product quality, efficiency, and compliance. Candidates should possess analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and leadership qualities. This position offers an opportunity to drive continuous improvement in a dynamic working environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in an extrusion plant operation.
  • Pest Control Fumigation Certificate from an accredited provider.
  • Advantageous: Milling qualification (GMF / SAGMA Modules with practical trade test).

Responsabilités

  • Oversee and support the full production cycle from raw material intake to finished product dispatch.
  • Implement and uphold the Continuous Improvement Process.
  • Ensure product and packing efficiency, quality, and profitability.
  • Monitor equipment efficiency and maintenance schedules.
  • Support staff management across their lifecycle in the organization.
