Type: Full Time

• Communicate with clients, airlines, and relevant departments.
• Handle airline reservations and bookings.
• Complete all export/import documents as required by authorities.

• At least 5 years of experience as an export controller in Perishable Airfreight exports and/or imports.
• Excellent industry knowledge and understanding of freight forwarding requirements.
• Familiarity with airline routes and capabilities.
• Strong organizational and persuasive skills.
• Effective communication with clients and airlines via phone and email.
• Detail-oriented, able to work under pressure, and capable of leading.

• Process and issue export documentation: AWB, SAD, Phytosanitary certificates, PPECB, COO's, etc.
• Book airline shipments according to rate agreements.
• Liaise with clients and maintain booking records.
• Track shipments daily and update clients.
• Plan daily shipments and warehouse activities.
• Coordinate with warehouse regarding deliveries and collections.
• Handle SARS tax clearances.

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ownership, self-motivation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Comprehensive understanding of airfreight operations.
• Ability to work under pressure with a positive attitude.
• Team player with results-oriented mindset.
• Confident and resilient.

• Matric certificate (essential).
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Windows, Outlook, and CargoWise1 / ShipShape.
