Seeking a Deployment Engineer

This role will provide the right candidate with the opportunity to work on some extremely rewarding projects including the development of impactful software while working with a friendly and supportive team.

This role will be critical to the safety of the production environment and help prevent the introduction of bad or untested code into production on which the organization's internal and external customers depend.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Deployment Engineer role assists in the successful deployment of integrated or stand‑alone releases.

The primary responsibility of the Deployment Engineer will be to safely deploy one or more releases into the production environment.

The Deployment Engineer will support the mission to continually lead, facilitate, and coordinate synchronized releases and maximize value delivered to our customers.

Reports to : Software Development Manager

Desired Experience & Qualification

Understanding of the standard Release and Deployment Management process including CI / CD methodology.

Minimum 3 years deployments / IT experience, with a couple of years prior development or test background preferable.

Understanding of web‑based front end applications and server deployments.

Cross‑platform experience and the expertise to identify and resolve integration issues.

Knowledge of system level and integration level testing.

Strong quality assurance background.

Excellent understanding of the continuous integration practice.

Proficiency in specifying and implementing testing and production environment infrastructure.

Expertise with automated testing products, including how to set up automated testing, how to script automated tests, how to create automated regression test suites, and how to troubleshoot automated testing issues.

Ability to work well with others on a team.

Experience with Docker and / or Azure is a plus.
