Responsible for providing pharmaceutical care services (within scope of practice) and performing day-to-day dispensary administration according to company's Standard Operating Plans (SOPs).


Job Objectives:

• Maintain high standards of customer service and care
• Ensure efficient stock control and administration, including repacking of medicine
• Manage dispensary administration effectively
• Perform accurate compounding
• Provide general health advice
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and merchandise display
• Handle ad hoc operational requirements

Minimum Requirements:
Qualifications and Experience:

• Matric with Maths (Essential)
• Meet the minimum requirements of the Health Professions Council of South Africa for Pharmacist Assistant levels (Qualified, Post Basic, Learner Basic)

Skills, Abilities and Job-Related Knowledge:

• Product knowledge (Health aisle and OTC)
• Knowledge of SAPC and relevant legal frameworks
• Customer service orientation
• Team player mentality
• Integrity and ethical practices
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Basic calculations skills
• Proficiency with IT Business Operating Systems and MS Office
