An independent Anglican school in Johannesburg South is seeking a passionate Computer Applications Technology and Computer Literacy Teacher to start in January 2026. The ideal candidate will have a recognized teaching qualification, experience teaching CAT and Computer Literacy, and a commitment to the school’s ethos. We are seeking to appoint a passionate, skilled and innovative Computer Applications Technology and Computer Literacy Teacher to join our High School from January 2026, with the possibility of a later start date (no later than May 2026) for the right candidate.

  • A recognised teaching qualification and SACE registration.
  • Experience teaching CAT in the FET Phase and Computer Literacy in the GET Phase.
  • IEB teaching experience is a strong advantage.
  • Solid proficiency in CAT content, including Microsoft Office, data management, and information systems.
  • Ability to teach foundational digital skills such as typing, file management, online safety, and digital citizenship.
  • Experience managing a computer lab and supporting responsible use of technology.
  • Strong classroom management and effective use of educational technology.
  • Willingness to contribute to extra-curricular activities and the broader life of the school.
  • Preparedness to work collaboratively within a dynamic staff team and uphold the Anglican ethos of St Martin’s School.
