Occupational Health Nurse à Afrique du Sud

Our client is looking for a Registered / General Nurse with at least 5 years' experience to join their team at a leading addiction recovery clinic. Their team is committed to helping clients achieve long term recovery in a supportive, professional environment.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN) or General Nurse Qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years' professional nursing experience.
• Experience in addiction and/or psychiatric care - advantageous but not a necessity - must be open to learning.
• Valid Nursing Council Registration (SANC receipt required).
• Computer literate - must be able to work with electronic medical notes.
• Own transport is essential.
• Willing to work day and night shifts.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Medication Management - ordering, issuing and accurate record keeping.
Electronic Medical documentation - recording all interactions on an online system.
Client Monitoring and Support - overseeing clients at mealtimes, monitoring eating disorders, self-harm risks and mental wellbeing.
Client Admissions - ensuring smooth, professional intake and settling new clients.
Medical Coordination - accompanying clients to doctors, dentists and blood services.
Virtual Consultations - connecting clients to doctors and social workers via online platforms (Teams/Zoom).
Weekend Responsibilities - accompany clients on shopping trips (Saturdays) and outings (Sundays) in our company vehicle
