The Technical Services Manager is responsible for leading, coordinating, managing and optimizing technical services team performance. The role includes shaping technical services processes and taking full responsibility for project execution, support services during and client success throughout the assigned region, during sales, deployment and aftermarket. The role offers an opportunity to apply their technical and managerial skills in delivering transformational technology projects to mine sites across the assigned region.
Minimum required education: Bachelor's degree in electrical, Computer, Automation, Mechanical, Systems, or Mining Engineering or a Diploma with substantial relevant experience.
Minimum years of experience: + 7 years of experience in automation, proximity detection technologies and sales environment (advantageous).
Type of experience Required: Implementations of Automation / Telemetry / Production Control / Maintenance Control Systems for Mining. Heavy vehicle mechanics / electronics, vehicle telemetry, industrial automation, and / or telecommunications. Mentoring and coaching coworkers. Managing multiple complex technical service projects. Underground hard rock and Surface mining industry. Building and managing high performance teams.
Technical Skills / Knowledge Required: Management control systems. Project Management: Estimating, Scheduling, Resource Planning, Reporting, Change Management, Invoicing, Delegation.
Soft Skills Required: Outstanding presentation skills, ability to capture the audience and communicate. Good listening skills. Proactivity and initiative. Rigor. Teamwork. Customer oriented.
