Job Summary

This is a key role that requires exceptional leadership and technical skills to manage site operations, ensuring seamless delivery of services and adherence to SLAs.

Purpose of Position

To guarantee that current service level agreements are met and continuously improved upon.

Daily client interaction to ensure Gilbarco AFS meets and exceeds client expectations in all aspects of installed systems at the site, maintaining SLA KPIs.

Manage technicians / technical team supporting the site as needed.

Main Responsibilities

Evaluate and maintain compliance with Gilbarco AFS Health & Safety procedures and policy.

Ensure MINE Health & Safety procedures and policy compliance.

Maintain Gilbarco AFS / MINE Service Level Agreement (SLA) compliance through regular audits.

Guarantee Gilbarco AFS Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) compliance via monthly assessments.

Attend regular meetings with clients and Gilbarco AFS DDS personnel.

Verify Contractors Pack compliance and sign off on a monthly basis.

Conduct quality control inspections on installations and maintenance tasks as per relevant SOPs.

Communicate all problems and issues to the SDM or operations manager for immediate attention and close out investigations with respective internal teams promptly.

Liaise with clients regarding installation and repair progress currently underway.

Task subordinates daily and weekly to meet objectives.

Manage stock levels and ordering for the site / mine, including VMI and site technical team.

Monitor daily fuel and lube reports to ensure all Gilbarco AFS systems function within acceptable standards.

Be responsible for any function or duty stipulated by mine rules and regulations for sub-contractors.

Oversee financial performance and cost management in service operations.

Manage van stock levels to ensure minimum stock availability and order replacement stock as needed.

Facilitate quarterly van stock takes.

Maintain accounts receivable below 10% of total book value for the area of responsibility.

Keep open deliveries under R20.

Lead improvement initiatives such as Kaizen, Daily Management, and PSP.

Maintain weekly and monthly KPI workbooks.
