Qualifications

• Minimum of two years working experience in a rock engineering department as an HOD at the shaft.
• Hard rock tabular mining experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe mine and support design.
• Input into mine planning and operations process.
• Manage duties as the head of Rock Engineering Department on the shaft.
• Fulfil responsibilities in the mandatory Code of Practice for rock-related risks.
• Guide training personnel on strata control related risks.
