What We're Looking For:

We seek a passionate and motivated Copywriter to join our creative team. This role requires three to five years of experience in writing marketing copy, including SEO-driven web pages, data-driven advertising scripts, strategic email campaigns, and more. The Copywriter will be part of our internal creative agency.

The Creative Marketing Group is a full-service in-house agency supporting all marketing efforts across the 2U and edX portfolios. As strategic partners, we aim to elevate creativity and drive our business forward.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:

• Create original persuasive copy to promote and differentiate 2U's portfolio of products and brands.
• Manage new program launches and develop brand style guides for various programs and collateral.
• Work from creative briefs, meeting project goals while offering creative solutions.
• Establish and maintain voice, tone, and brand identity across multiple programs and brands.
• Manage multiple deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
• Translate complex concepts into clear, concise, and reader-friendly copy.
• Proofread and edit materials for clarity, style, consistency, and correctness.
• Ensure all content complies with standards and is on brief.

Collaboration and Relationship Building:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with team members and stakeholders.
• Communicate concepts clearly and professionally.
• Foster positive collaboration among creative team members.

Mentorship:

• Mentor less experienced copywriters through guidance and feedback.
• Review work for quality and consistency, providing constructive feedback.
• Share industry trends and best practices with the team.

Required Background:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Knowledge of AP and Chicago styles; experience with client style guides.
• Proficiency with project management tools and Google Office Suite.
