We’re a dynamic marketing agency based in Tokai, Cape Town (Southern Suburbs), and we’re looking for two Social Media Assistants to join our team. This is a strictly office-based, full-time role, perfect for marketing graduates, students, or junior professionals who want to build their portfolios, sharpen their skills, and work on exciting client campaigns in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in creating, editing, and scheduling engaging social media content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X
  • Write clear, creative, and compliant captions in collaboration with our copywriting team
  • Create short‑form video content, static posts, and basic graphics with support from our in‑house design team
  • Help plan, update, and manage social media content calendars under the guidance of the Content Lead and Head of Marketing
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and is approved before publishing
  • Monitor comments, messages, and mentions across platforms
  • Respond to basic enquiries using approved guidelines and escalate sensitive or complex queries when needed
  • Support marketing campaigns, promotions, and product launches
  • Research trends, hashtags, and competitor activity to keep content fresh and relevant
  • Track engagement and performance metrics and assist with social media reporting
  • Maintain accurate content records for compliance and auditing purposes
