Job summary
A leading manufacturing firm in Cape Town is looking for a Trade-Tested Electrician to join their team. You will perform maintenance and fault finding on production machinery, ensuring efficient operation and minimizing downtime. Candidates should have Matric and 3-5 years of experience in a plastics production environment. Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to ongoing improvement are essential. This role may require overtime and weekend work.
Qualifications

- Solid knowledge of plant safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical, electrical, and electronic fault finding and maintenance on production machinery.

Perform mechanical, electrical, and electronic fault finding and maintenance on production machinery.
Maintain and repair electrical distribution systems.
Ensure machines run efficiently and downtime is kept to a minimum.
Uphold and improve plant safety and maintenance procedures.
Be part of a team that values continuous improvement and proactive problem-solving.
Matric (Grade 12).
3-5 years of experience in plastics production or a similar manufacturing environment.
Solid knowledge of plant safety protocols.
Natural problem-solver with a strong electrical & electronic aptitude.
Methodical, analytical, and cool under pressure.
A team player who can also work independently.
Committed to continuous improvement and innovation.
Willing to work overtime and weekends when required.
Reliable, punctual, and takes ownership of their work.
