Job description
Mechanical Engineer
My client in the manufacturing industry, based in Boksburg, is looking for a Mechanical Engineer.
The ideal candidate should come from a rubber manufacturing or similar industry.
Responsibilities
- Manage the engineering team.
- Design maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods for sections such as Calendaring, Belt Building, Vulcanizing Press, Final Finish, and Utilities.
- Implement cost-saving projects.
- Perform routine maintenance, fault finding, and breakdown diagnostics.
- Improve health and safety standards.
- Prepare MIS reports daily, weekly, and monthly.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
- Relevant Mechanical Engineering qualification.
- Experience in the rubber manufacturing industry.
- Project management experience.
- Experience with shutdowns.
Remuneration
R25,000 - R35,000 CTC.
