Job summary
A reputable accounting firm in Gqeberha is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate must be SAIPA qualified and will be responsible for various accounting tasks including VAT processing, payroll management, and drafting financial statements. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this role, which requires on-site presence.
Qualifications
- SAIPA qualification is mandatory to apply for this role.
- A valid driver's license is required.
Responsibilities
- Processing of information for VAT purposes.
- Prepare and submission of VAT, EMP and EMP501 to SARS.
- Reconciliations including VAT, payroll, and other.
- Prepare and submit Workman’s Compensation.
- Draft Annual Financial Statements for companies and Trusts.
- Perform income tax calculations.
- Prepare payroll, payslips and submissions.
- Conduct all general accounting functions.
