Inviting applications for the role of OTC Specialist – Senior Process Associate – French - Remote EMEA
Your job will involve invoice and payment processing, workflow management, and issue resolution.
Responsibilities
- Analyze the creditworthiness of customers based on financial reports
- Review customer risk factors & payment history to set net terms and suggest credit limits
- Perform quarterly/annual credit limit reviews
- Maintain Credit Master Data regularly
- Perform daily cash application in SAP
- Follow up on unapplied payments
- Process refunds and direct debits
- Reconcile collection accounts with banks & ledger/sub-ledger
- Manage & resolve customer queries, unapplied remittances, errors
- Manage deductions (creation and reconciliation)
- Perform collection actions via phone and email, investigating non-payments
- Meet collection targets (monthly, quarterly, yearly)
- Create and send customized customer statements
- Communicate with internal and external customers
- Process trade management invoice receipt
- Handle event entry, contract creation, validation, and repository
- Ensure SOX compliance
- Perform month-end closing activities (cash forecast, journal entries, periodic transactions)
- Prepare and publish ad-hoc reports
Qualifications
- Minimum French level C1
- Accounting knowledge
- Relevant work experience
- Experience with SAP system (preferably S4Hana)
- Excel proficiency
- Organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused
- Accurate, logical problem solver
- Ability to handle client interactions via email and calls
- Proactive, able to work independently and in a team
- Good communication and quick learner
- Customer-centric mindset, ability to challenge the status quo
Preferred Qualifications
- University degree (economic studies preferred)
