Job summary
A leading creative agency in KwaZulu-Natal is seeking a Head of Creative to drive innovative strategies across channels. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in creative leadership and ability to inspire teams. Responsibilities include overseeing design and execution while ensuring brand consistency and excellence. A bachelor's degree and significant experience in both in-house and agency settings are required. This role offers the opportunity to leverage modern technology and AI for impactful creative outputs.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in brand or creative leadership with a proven track record in concept development and creative direction.
- 3+ years mentoring and managing creatives, building high-performance, brand-led teams.
- Experience across in-house and agency environments is ideal.
Responsibilities
- Lead concept development, design, execution, and production across channels.
- Inspire a small in-house team and collaborate with partners to produce brand work.
- Ensure outputs are distinctive, compelling, and delivered to a standard of excellence.

As a Head of Creative, you will lead concept development, design, execution and production across collateral, communications, journeys, digital, social and owned channels, ensuring outputs are distinctive, compelling, consistent and delivered to a standard of excellence. You will inspire a small in-house team, leverage tech and AI to scale quality and speed, and collaborate with selected creative, production and media partners to produce best-in-class brand work that delivers a WOW experience.
You bring decisive creative leadership, deep storytelling and design craft, meticulous brand stewardship across tone, voice and visual identity, and a tech-forward approach, confident with modern tools and AI to elevate consistency, efficiency and creative impact.
If you have the following :
- Bachelor’s degree in design, advertising, marketing, visual communication or related field
- 8+ years in brand or creative leadership with a proven track record in concept development and creative direction
- 3+ years mentoring and managing creatives, building high-performance, brand-led teams
- Experience across in-house and agency environments (ideal)
