Job summary

The successful candidate will manage new part introductions, ensure compliance with specifications, and initiate design improvements. The role includes local and international travel as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in the manufacturing environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of applicable motor vehicle parts and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Qualifying Program for new part introduction.
  • Identify root causes for part deviation from specifications.
  • Test and evaluate performance of parts according to specifications.
  • Provide technical expertise for complete parts.
  • Initiate design improvements for complex part problems.

Skills

Knowledge of motor vehicle components and systems
Technical drawing interpretation
Knowledge of Quality Tools (e.g., DOE, SPC, FMEA, 8D)
Computer literacy (MS Office)
