A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Head of Compliance & HR in Claremont, Cape Town. Ideal candidates should have a degree in Law or Finance and 5+ years in banking or fintech. Competitive salary of R50,000 - R60,000 per month offered with incentives.

RPO Recruitment is actively seeking a skilled Head of Compliance & HR to join our client in Claremont, Cape Town. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to oversee compliance, legal, and HR functions within a fast-paced financial services environment. If you have a strong background in compliance, financial services, and human resources, we want to hear from you!
- Oversee the full HR function, including onboarding, regulatory adherence, and performance management.
- Communicate with external compliance advisors and ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
- Review and produce internal legal documents.
- Support the CEO with operational and strategic tasks.
- Onboard service providers and conduct due diligence processes.
- Ensure compliance with FSCA, FIC, SARB, and banking regulations.
- Degree/diploma in Law or Finance.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in financial services, banking, fintech, and/or crypto.
- Strong legal background to manage in-house legal matters.
- Strong operational and managerial experience in HR and compliance.
- Advanced Excel skills are mandatory.
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask across HR, legal, compliance, and management functions.
- Interest in cryptocurrency and financial services.
- Salary: R50,000 - R60,000 per month, with incentives and additional perks.
