JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to and implement the TFG Beauty Private Label (PL) strategy within the product group.
- Manage and implement the product development and product execution sign-off processes in line with TFG Beauty Processes.
- Participate actively in the development and implementation of new products.
- Understand and benchmark the quality, innovation, and sustainability of products.
- Develop and implement innovation opportunities.
- Manage and implement sustainability processes within the Product Group.
- Ensure compliance with TFG's GMP policies.
- Continuously assess opportunities for value engineering with tracking and measurement.
- Evaluate and set new product standards where applicable.
- Stay informed about local and overseas raw material and new product developments.
- Ensure all Private Label products comply with local and international regulations and standards.
- Provide input into supplier strategy and onboarding as required.
Customer Focus
- Analyze customer feedback through various channels to improve product quality and durability.
- Address and resolve all customer complaints within the required timelines.
Supplier Performance Review
- Review supplier performance post-season, focusing on key metrics.
- Identify trends and recommend improvements.
People Management
Develop, motivate, mentor, and inspire Technologists and Assistant Technologists to achieve group strategies and high performance.
Supplier Management
- Manage the beauty category manufacturing processes.
- Ensure manufacturing aligns with best practices.
- Maintain relationships with manufacturers to meet technical standards.
- Manage specifications and technical packs to meet aesthetic, technical, performance, and quality expectations.
- Manage the supply base according to Group Strategy.
- Drive sustainability initiatives with Group Sustainability.
- Develop and nurture supplier relationships.
- Identify new opportunities for enterprise and supplier development.
Stakeholder Management
- Maintain seamless relationships with design, buying, planning, and marketing teams.
- Empower buying groups with product knowledge.
- Share product development ownership with design and buying teams, ensuring adherence to critical timelines.
Qualifications & Experience:
- BTECH / Chemistry / Engineering / Material Sciences
- 2 years retail experience
- 3 years product development experience
