Key Responsibilities

• Take direct responsibility for the profitability of the store by ensuring the set targets are met.
• Ensure staff are trained in correct sales procedures and have a good knowledge of the product.
• Maintain a high level of customer service.
• Assist customers and provide information.
• Resolve customer complaints promptly.
• Inform staff of new product lines and pricing changes.
• Manage staff rosters.
• Coordinate and conduct stock takes.
• Keep and analyze records of sales figures and financial transactions, including filing.
• Implement and oversee security procedures.
• Manage staff as necessary.

Qualifications and Experience

• Matric
• 3-5 years’ experience in furniture retail, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Minimum personal sales of R250,000 on average.
• Proven sales track record of at least 6 months.
• Experience in industrial relations.
• Planning, organizational, and time management skills.
• Good knowledge of sales techniques.
• Computer literacy.
