• National Diploma in Dry Processing of Textile Technology; B.Tech preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in technology or manufacturing processes within the textile industry.
• Experience in textile technology-related teaching or training in higher education, industry, or training institutions.
• Strong knowledge of yarn and fabric manufacturing, product engineering, fabric construction, quality, and raw materials.
• Understanding of laboratory equipment and systems related to textiles.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Showcase a portfolio of work and provide traceable references.
• Strong team player with high initiative, motivation, and networking skills.

• Assist the Head of Department or assigned academic staff with tasks.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized laboratory environment.
• Support practical sessions, assess student work, and train students in equipment use.
• Manage laboratory opening/closing and access periods.
• Oversee inventory and equipment management.
• Assist in budget planning for consumables and equipment.
• Perform administrative duties, engage in community initiatives, and support income-generating activities.
• Engage in personal professional development.
• Participate in departmental activities, including research and community engagement.
