Job Summary

CIB Corporate Technology is seeking a Technical Developer to produce, test, document, and review source code according to CIB Salesforce standards. The role involves supporting Salesforce development and configuration, as well as .NET development, focusing on delivering high-quality end-user experiences for internal and external users.

The developer will collaborate with the Business team on architectural designs to manage business requirements, and will oversee the development and support of architecture design, deployments, code reviews, and mentoring of team members. Level 2 support on incidents will also be part of the responsibilities.

Job Description

CIB Corporate Technology utilizes the Salesforce Platform to manage operations, client interactions, feedback, and onboarding across various business areas, including:

• Coverage Banking, Product Houses, and Markets
• Legal (integration with iManage Legal case management system)
• Compliance, Client Service Centres, Credit, Marketing Cloud, Cash Collections, Digital Partnerships, etc.

A dedicated Salesforce team comprising Full-stack Developers, Data Engineers, and Configuration Specialists supports the entire CIB business. They develop custom functionalities and configure Salesforce to meet diverse business needs. Opportunities are available for technologists interested in Architecture, Integration, or Full-stack Development, within a culture of learning, empowerment, flexibility, recognition, work-life balance, diversity, and inclusion.

Skills and Experience required:

• Relevant B-Degree in Computer Science preferred but not essential if experience and practical application are demonstrated
• 8 years of IT experience
• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience, primarily with .NET
• Experience with Salesforce is beneficial, but strong focus on .NET development is essential
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design and design patterns
• Familiarity with frameworks like JavaScript, jQuery, TypeScript, HTML, CSS
• Experience with automated testing, building, and designing software
• Excellent communication, analytical skills, and decision-making abilities
• Proficiency in coding/scripting languages, especially .NET
• Experience with unit testing frameworks
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Technical and People Leadership experience in managing engineering teams

Advantageous Salesforce certifications include Salesforce 501 and 502, Salesforce Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and Salesforce DX.

• Applying principles of self-service, repeatability, testability, scalability, and resilience
• Applying design patterns and paradigms
• Debugging and polishing features
• Collaborating with teams to improve technical products
• Following Group Architecture & Infrastructure guidelines
• Supporting reviews, performance monitoring, and ongoing optimization
• Staying updated on emerging technologies and practices
• Maintaining documentation and technical specifications

• Managing and mentoring team members

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology (Required)
