Our beautiful venue in Spitalfields is seeking a talented Junior Sous Chef to join our warm and welcoming back of house team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of your section in a dynamic kitchen, contribute to menu development, and help deliver the Ottolenghi experience.

As a Junior Sous Chef at Ottolenghi Spitalfields, you will:

1. Assist the Sous & Head Chefs in daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
2. Ensure high standards of food quality and presentation
3. Contribute to menu development and creative recipe ideas
4. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
5. Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff

The ideal Junior Sous Chef will be:

1. Passionate about food, with a creative approach to preparing dishes
2. A strong team player who enjoys collaborating with others and is confident in leading their section
3. Able to manage your section with precision and attention to detail
4. Experienced in a similar role, ideally in a high-quality, fast-paced kitchen
5. Knowledgeable about food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring the highest level of cleanliness in the kitchen
