Job summary
A prominent recruitment agency is seeking a qualified candidate to lead and establish Supply Chain Management principles within an organization. Applicants should possess a 4-year degree in Supply Chain Management, an MCIPS diploma, and at least 10 years of experience in a procurement environment, preferably in a state-owned entity. The role involves developing and maintaining SCM policies in alignment with corporate objectives, requiring strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and public sector procurement procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years experience in state-owned entity Procurement environment.
- 7 years experience as head of procurement or 10 years experience as Manager SCM.
Responsibilities
- Lead and establish Supply Chain Management principles within the organisation.
- Develop, implement, enforce, and maintain SCM policies, standards, and processes.
Skills
Education
To lead and establish appropriate Supply Chain Management (SCM) principles within the organisation by developing, implementing, enforcing and maintaining policies, standards and processes in line with legislation and the strategic objectives of the corporate plan of the Group.
- 4 Year Degree in Supply Chain Management
- MCIPS diploma
- Experience within a state‑owned entity Procurement environment - 10 years
- Experience 7 years head of procurement or 10 years experience Manager SCM
- Microsoft Office
- Knowledge / Experience Procurement Systems
- Legislative and Regulatory Requirements
- Public sector including State‑Owned Enterprises (SOE) Procurement Procedures
