Job summary
A leading international company in renewable energy is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to oversee its financial operations and support strategic business initiatives. This role includes managing the full finance function, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and significant experience in finance management within the renewable energy sector. SAP knowledge and a willingness to travel internationally are advantageous.

A leading international company in the renewable energy sector is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to oversee its financial operations and support strategic business initiatives.
- Lead and manage the full finance function, including month‑end close, reporting, and audits.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost‑centre analysis; identify and implement corrective actions.
- Liaise with external service providers, including tax and accounting partners.
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and tax requirements.
- Administer inter‑company contracts, insurance, lease agreements, and payment runs (local and cross‑border).
- Project finance support: validate cost calculations, monitor project margins, prepare forecasts and variance analyses.
- Advise management on finance and tax matters; assist in strategic projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent preferred.
- Completed accounting articles (SAICA, SAIPA, or equivalent).
- Proven experience overseeing a full finance function and leading junior team members, ideally within the renewable energy, power, or alternative energy sector.
- Demonstrated knowledge of financial management for energy projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and project cost control.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and strong time‑management skills.
- SAP experience and company secretarial knowledge advantageous.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
